Requirement: Some five years ago, British Energy (BE) was one of the early entrants to the e-learning arena, with a requirement to create an enterprise wide system capable of delivering a complex curriculum of media rich content and formal assessment, to be delivered via 10 different learning centres. The content would cover topics such as Health Physics, Health and Safety, Incident Safety Procedures and Incident Management.

Solution: Because of the sheer volume of courses to be created, the solution proposed and adopted centred on the use of learning and assessment templates, specifically built to link with the custom built Learning Management System, which consulted on. Over the five year period, we worked on four major elements of the system content build, and advised on system enhancements and updates. Today, the BE Learing Portal delivers up to date interactive learning to several thousand employees and contractors, with a high degree of success
