British Energy British Energy

British Energy needed to create an enterprise wide system capable of delivering a complex curriculum of media rich content and formal assessment, to be delivered via 10 different learning centres. The content covered topics such as Health Physics, Health and Safety, Incident Safety Procedures and Incident Management.
Because of the sheer volume of courses to be created, the solution proposed and adopted centred on the use of learning and assessment templates, specifically built to link with a custom built Learning Management System. Over a five year period, Lesley led the team which worked on four major elements of the system content build, and advised on system enhancements and updates. The British Energy Learning Portal delivers up to date interactive learning to several thousand employees and contractors, with a high degree of success.
